Frisco Association for the Arts is accepting applications for Board of Directors for the 2007 term.
Frisco Association for the Arts supports local arts-related organizations in Frisco and Collin County.
The mission of the Board of Directors is to prudently manage and put the financial resources to work for
the benefit of the Arts in our community, and to sustain and build support for the arts as the community
grows. As part of this effort, the organization offers grants to community arts groups on an annual basis,
holds fund-raising events throughout the year, and sponsors other art events in the area. The board is
comprised of active volunteers and it is expanding to support the rapid growth in Frisco.
Requirements:
- Two-year term
- Attendance at monthly Board of Directors Meeting, second Monday, noon
- Commitment to financial and service contributions per calendar year, as defined by the Board bylaws and requirements
- Chairmanship or co-chairmanship of approved committees
